Luana Towney has written a travelling book about the First Nations people of Nipaluna/Hobart. The story is a child friendly history lesson about first contact in Nipaluna in both palawa kani and English and can be read by adults and children alike.

This project is supported by the City of Hobart in partnership with Constance ARI and the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre. The project has also received in-kind support from Focal Printing who ensured the book was printed on high quality paper.

All proceeds from the sale of this book will be split evenly between the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre’s Language Program and the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
